Take A Bow is Madonna's biggest US hit to date, spending 7 weeks at #1. It is a beautiful ballad, co-written by Madonna and Babyface. The single featured Madonna's improving vocals and her live performance of the song at the American Music Awards certainly helped the single. The video featured a love opus between Madonna and a bullfighter. Madonna proved all critics and media wrong when they said her career ended after Sex. She had scored her biggest hit and embarked on a new style, moving on to other things besides selling sex, exploring music and new styles, as she always has.
