Favorite Madonna Songs (1-5)

  • -Express Yourself-
    - Madonna, Stephen Bray -
    Like A Prayer

"Express Yourself" is probably my favorite Madonna
song, because of the vigor and the style. The album
version is particularly enjoyable and fun, while the
7" remix is more stylish. I also love the video and the
    positive message of the song.

  • -Like A Prayer-
    - Madonna, Patrick Leonard -
    Like A Prayer

The title track to my favorite album is one of the most
amazing musical productions I've heard. It's the single
that Madonna was born to make, incorporating many
areas of music, as well as a beautiful video that is
misunderstood by many, but is in reality a positive
    message about racism.

  • -Live To Tell-
    - Madonna, Patrick Leonard -
    True Blue

I remember "Live To Tell" from when I was really little
and even before, I didn't understand the beautiful
lyrics of the song, I loved it. Now, I can relate to it
and I think everything about it is beautiful, the mood,
the lyrics about being strong and Madonna's voice.

  • -Secret-
    - Madonna, Dallas Austin -
    Bedtime Stories

I can never get sick of "Secret" because it's a relaxing
song with a great beat. It's also a song that brings back
memories, the song that first got me hooked on Madonna
around the time I got into music. It's also the first song
I learned on guitar and it wasn't easy.

  • -You'll See-
    - Madonna, David Foster -
    Something To Remember

I remember when this first came out, I fell in love with
the beautiful melody and the video. Madonna had such
a beautiful voice and I got the beautiful album with this
song. I wasn't a die hard fan yet, but I loved it. The
message about independence and self reliance in this
song has made me a stronger and different person.
