SURE SHOTS TIP LIST
Bubbling under the 50. Most likely to make a chart impact.
1. Everclear "One Hit Wonder"
2. Stabbing Westward "Haunting Me"
3. Metallica "Whiskey In The Jar"
4. Sprung Monkey "Super Breakdown"
5. Train "Free"
6. Less Than Jake "History Of A Boring Town"
7. Aerosmith "The Other Side" (Live)
Amazing rendition of my favorite Aerosmith song.

SHOOT THE RADIO SHITLIST
Overplayed, overrated, overhyped. Least likely to make chart impact.
1. Shawn Mullins "Lullaby"
The song from hell.
2. Will Smith "Miami"
Join the mantra. Kill Will. Kill Will. Kill Will!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3. Faithless "God Is A DJ"
It's incredibly stupid. It's techno crap.
4. Whitney & Mariah "When You Believe"
5. Smashing Pumpkins "Crestfallen"
They ran out of single choices huh? This is pathetically bland.

CHART UPDATE

Points are down overall and few bullets are awarded this week. In fact, the only bulleted Top 10 title is Hole's "Malibu" which moves up to #10 and is awarded Power Pick - Airplay, as airplay on alternative radio gets a major boost this week. As predicted, Coutrney and the gang have two singles in the Top 10 as "Celebrity Skin" bumps back up to #6. This former #1 smash has occupied every single position in the Top 10 (1 to 10) but has never left it. Amazing really. Metal singles are also doing very well on the chart with Korn's "Got The Life" and Rob Zombie's "Dragula" rebounding back into #14 and #15 this week, while Monster Magnet's "Powertrip" bullets to #17, down one spot. Some major gainers are Creed's "One", perhaps a future #1 hit and Remy Zero's "Prophecy", an excellent single ready for a position in the Top 10. It is also one of the many alternative rock crossovers and will be huge on hard rock radio.

HALL OF FAME

The top 50 year end chart is up. Merry Christmas.
